University of Colorado
The University of Colorado displays 26 NCAA titles in its trophy case, most of them in skiing. But it’s on the football field where the Colorado Buffaloes show off their most famous tradition and perhaps the most unique mascot in collegiate athletics. Before the Buffalo players storm onto Folsom Field, they’re led by a real buffalo named Ralphie — a running tradition that began 1934.
